Strongvox Gifts Local School Sports Field
As England made their way to Wembley, we’ve been busy readying a brand-new sports field for use by Sandford Primary School last week.
We were delighted to hand over the area of ground to North Somerset Council, for the use of the local school children and staff, as part of our contribution to the local community, following the progress of the Russet Copse development in the village.
Pictured at the sports field today are (left to right): Lorna Richardson (Headteacher, Sandford School), Robert Alford (Director, Strongvox Homes), Hayley Zaple (Sales Advisor, Strongvox Homes) & Archie Forbes (Chairman of Winscombe & Sandford Parish Council).
Robert Alford, Director at Strongvox said:
“The donation of this new sports field by Strongvox is the culmination of several years’ work during the development of Russet Copse and we’re delighted to see the staff and students of Sandford School enjoying the field as part of their annual sports day today. We wish Mrs Richardson, her staff and all the children at the school many years of pleasure with it.”
Since starting the new homes site in Sandford, we have contributed approximately £643,000 to both the local and wider community, as part of our commitment to ensuring that all homes are built with the local infrastructure and environment in mind.
