Book donation for Nether Stowey School
Inspiring young readers with vital new books
We recently showed are support for education by contributing £1,500 to Nether Stowey C of E Primary School. This contribution has helped the school acquire much-needed new books, enhancing the learning experience for its pupils.
On Thursday, March 14, 2024, Head Teacher Chloe Holt (pictured left) gratefully accepted the generous donation from Strongvox Homes’ representatives, Land Director Simon Tannahill (centre) and Sales Manager Georgina Lindsay (right). Also present at the ceremony, held during assembly, was Kevin Ferriday, Chair of Nether Stowey Parish Council.
The funds donated have purchased a large selection of books from the Collins Big Cat series, a renowned collection that supports every primary child on their reading journey from phonics to fluency. Authored and illustrated by top talents, these books encompass both fiction and non-fiction genres, tailored to engage children in enjoyable reading experiences.
This contribution reflects Strongvox Homes’ dedication not only to building quality homes but also to investing in the communities where it operates.
